Just picked up a Custom Sonny D 8 String

I just picked up my custom Sonny D 8 String. Sonny D and his Son Dwayne customized this uke to my likings. They designed the neck/fretboard specifically for my hands. I am really pleased with this uke.

The wood is high grade blob curly koa with maple/ebony accents.
Also the neck is made out of super curly koa.

I am really into the sound of Sonny D ukes.

That is a very nice looking instrument, I would like to try one the next time I am in the Islands, they seem ard to find in the stores though.

that is a great looking instrument! i know for sure the next uke i buy is going to be an 8 string. too bad funds are too low to grab one (uas setting in again...)
 
I agree with the general assessment of this uke - damn it's pretty! I'd love to hear some sound clips if you've got them. =]
 
Thanks everyone for the nice words. I would put some clips but my camera is not very good quality.
