Do you professional builders have a favorite uke that you or someone else built that you play most of the time ? Or do you just play the one you just built ?

Only own and play my own, and evaluate the latest against my past favourites. Try out others every chance I get though, and evaluate them against my own work.

I'm pretty fond of my $30 Rogue baritone. It's got a special beer-resistant finish on it :)

I always play my own ukuleles (Hive Ukuleles).......but if i had to play another brand, i would play a Compass Rose Ukulele, they sound great.

I have a very nice G-String tenor, but my favorite "go to" tenor uke is a koa, rosewood, and cocobolo one that I built from scratch. It just has a great overall tone and playability to it that suits my style. However, I would love to try meet and try out a Chuck, Pete, Dominator, or William custom for comparison or purchase one day... thanks...
