Hello ukulele underground members! We are a ukulele trio from northern virginia. We have plenty of original songs, but want ideas for covers. We have a couple, but just thought it wouldn't hurt to get some input. We recently covered 'Chop Suey' by System of a Down. Here is a link to give you an idea of what we are going for:

We consider ourselves tragical-comical-historical-pastoral-ukulele folk rock, if that helps. We aren't the typical Hawaiian sounding ukulele players, but we would greatly appreciate suggestions!

Hmm, One that sticks out for me in terms of dead-pan humour and sometimes comical genius would be songs by Bill Callahan (Smog), there's a lot to choose from. Not sure how you would work it with a trio but he does have some fast/up-beat songs, especially on his "Woke on a Whaleheart" album. Other than that I'm at a loss.
