I liked this ukulele so much when I got it a few months ago that I called Loprinzi and had a custom one built. The custom just arrived and I'm trying to be practical although I kind of like this one better.....

Here's some details/opinions:

BODY: Solid mahogany. Silky smooth satin finish. Flawless condition.

NECK: Mahogany with a slightly thinner profile....not as much as I was expecting compared to the old Kamaka soprano I owned. Beautifully finished frets and 14 of them to the body.

Tuners: The best friction ones I have tried.

Case: Cool tweed case with lots of cushion that I bought separately.

Action: Very easy player....medium/low string height. No buzz and excellent intonation everywhere on the neck.

Sound: This has a really sweet mellow sound when played with the thumb and finger pads and brightens up just enough for my tastes when using my nails.

Bottomline is this is just another excellent ukulele made by the Loprinzi's that you read about online.

$375 shipped with case.
