What's the difference between the Kala KA-T and the KALA KA-TE ukulele?

I know that the KA-TE is acoustic/electric, but is there any difference in tone quality or intonation... etc.

The KA-TE is just a KA-T with a Shadow active pickup system installed at the factory.
It should have a negligible effect on tone quality and intonation.

The only noticeable difference as an instrument should be that the KA-TE is a bit heavier lol.
