The instrument is about 24 inches long with a 15 inch scale.

Neck- Honduras Mahogany
Fingerboard- Rosewood
Headplate- Honduras Mahogany
Bridge-Rosewood
Nut- Rosewood
Tuners- Gotoh friction tuners
Strings- Aquila
Can- A can

Concert has a slightly deeper sound. I think its because of the longer string length and the rosewood bridge.

This video just got featured on Boing Boing and got 6000 views in one day!

IMHO ... anything I've built with those cookie tins don't have a very nice sound.

Hey all, there's a guy with a danish cookie ukulele same as ahnko honu showed.
on You Tube.....and it sounds pretty good...punch in ....Cookie tin ukulele.....Didgeman 80
 
I wonder if it would sound better with a can from Hawaii. I guess using a Spam can would be appropriate
