After viewing all of the great entries in the Kanile'a/UU "Spread the Aloha" Ukulele Contest, I've got a few questions I'm hoping y'all could help me with.

As I'm new to the ukulele and posting videos in general, I'd appreciate some input.

I've got three questions I would like the UUUniverse--specifically those who regularly post videos--to address:

1) Microphones
2) Video Software
3) Audio Software

Here's the second one about microphones.

Moving this to the Audio / Video forum . . .

adobe premiere users...

have any of you used imovie too? can you compare the two applications? pros/cons?

thanks!

1. Microphones: Shure SM58, Shure SM57, Kel HM-1 (we have others but these are the main ones we use for recording and playing out.
2. Video Software: trackAxPC
3. Audio Software: Kristal Audio Engine (multitrack sequencer), Audacity and Wavosaur (audio editors)

1) Microphones - Blue Snowball
2) Video Software - Sony Vegas
3) Audio Software - Audacity

It's a pretty simple setup, really. I like it and it's fairly easy for someone as dim as me to understand so it's all good. I hope this helps :)
