Fred Miu and Acabo'oe in Kaka'ako Park ( Oahu )

Yesterday my wife, son, brother in law, and I went cruzin up to Kaka'ako Waterfront Park, and we met Fred Miu up there.

Fred and I hung out for a while.
He showed me a few songs, and then we went grass surfing. ( even though I didn't stay on my board all the time )

It was alot of fun, and I hope to do it again soon.

yep

its a nice one too. i want to fix the action on the A string, seems a little lower than i want it. but still a good uke

maybe we should go there for the oahu meet-up. i never even considered kakaako. hopefully on a sunday though, its my only day off

really green and perfect weather and sites. i vote there for the oahu meet up.

almost any sunday i can go, i was thinking ala moana beach park as a meet up spot, but kakaako is way better

Niice. That looks like fun.

We tried to go to kakaako park tonight...but I sort of forgot how to get there. So we went around near the UH Med School for a while looking for the park entrance. But I guess you guys had no trouble finding it in broad daylight.

I haven't been to kakaako park in so long. They've done so much landscaping around there since I last visited. It reminds me that I must visit it again sometime during the daytime.
