I got a new ukulele and when i slide on it, theres no sound when i arrive to the second note.....WHY?
and my fingers are kind of red from trying to slide to much.
and the sound overall is kind of small and i don't understand why

Ukes inherently don't have a whole lot of sustain like guitars do. This is especially true as the ukes get smaller. In order to get that second note to sound properly try using vibrato on it. Also try using your pointer or middle finger for the slide - the ringer is your weakest finger.

IMHO, slides on uke sound best when limited to 1-2 frets or a VERY quick slide over several, like 2-5.

I'd also try some better strings. I notice my aquillas give me a bit more sustain to do a slide than old/inferior strings.
