Uke's at the Guitar Show in Philly

Hi everybody,

Went to guitar show in Vally Forge, Pa today,
amongst the thoudands of guitars only 48 ukuleles.

Vintage:
6 Martins, 2 Gibsons, 2 national resonators
2 Kent, 4 unamed, 1 Roy Smeck

Plastic:
21 various

New:
6 Kala, 2 Makala, 2 touristy

Nothing really exiting, I was hopong to see more with the
resurgance of uke interest. On the up side I sold a few Danelectro guitars.
All in all a lot of fun.

Were there people there expressing interest in any of the ukuleles?

Saw one man buy one of the touristy models, 35 bucks, maybe I should have too.
Kala was selling out, only had a few left and somebody bought em up.
Didn't notice anyone examining the old stuff except for the National, which was a bit of a
novelty, 1200 and you could bring it home.

I really enjoy these shows twice a year, next one will be around November.
