Restring

Hi, I have a concert ukulele and was wondering if it OK to restring the 4th string one octave lower.

Do you mean the G string? If so yes many people on the forum string their ukes with a Low G tuning. Also I am going to move this to Ukulele Beginners as thats more of where ti would need to be.
