Kamaka Sighting

I was in Empire Antiques in Placerville, California, and noticed a Kamaka all Koa ukulele for sale. It looked like a soprano and was advertised as being made in the 50s. They were asking $450. It appeared to be in excellent condition. I was not interested in it so I didn't look it over. Thought I'd post this if anyone is interested. There was no case.

I like how we're probably all so used to hearing about vintage Kamakas for $100 that $450 seems absolutely outrageous.

I'm not into sopranos but I would have bought it if it was only $100.

At $450.00, I buy it when dogs sing......
