Should Savarez Stink?

Just got some Savarez strings from Beyond Strings and the four little string packets stunk -- I mean the most acrid kind of smell I had ever smelled. Anyone have this experience? Thanks. Mike

Interesting, I have ordered Savarez strings in the past from Strings By Mail or Just Strings and they never had an unusual (or actually any) odor. Perhaps it was from the shipper's storage, but I would be surprised if it were the strings themselves.

Literally they shouldn't stink......only kidding he he...They may have been placed where it stunk and aquired it....

Got an email and a call into them - it was $17 with shipping. Hey,t he strings don't stink, just the packages, so I assume they are good. I'll give em a bath if they don't take them back. Mike
