Here's my latest uke video:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tKDguV6gbAI

It's for a contest- (check it out (http://ukewarehouse.wordpress.com/2008/05/21/another-ukulele-giveaway/)- then enter!!!)

Anyways... I was being way too ambitious with my entry. I had never done a frame by frame animation before (and I've decided I'll never do it again...)

I had also never tried to do a multi-track recording. In that I think I did a bit better than I did with the animation...

Anyways- hope watching it doesn't make you sick- and if it does- please just close your eyes and tell me what you think of how I sync'd the tracks. I know I didn't get it perfect- but does it at least sound okay?

Great job! How many frames did you end up taking? The timing was pretty good and must have been the most tricky part. What software did you use? My kids have done many stop motion lego animations and I know it's really time consuming. Check out a few of them here:

It was about 130 frames, and I did it using windows movie maker. Trying to make it in sync was the most work.

If I could do it over, I'd take about 4 times as many frames- my original idea was to have one frame per note- but I ended up shooting about five frames short- so that's where it became a headache.

The ones from your son's were really neat (I especially loved how R2D2 kept on falling over- tehehe.)
