This is my new Cigar Box Tenor Resonator Uke. It has a solid mahogany body and neck, rosewood fretboard, brass cone, carbon fiber biscuit bridge, micarta nut, Peghed geared tuners, and is currently tuned low G. I am new to building and would apreciate any feedback. Thanks.

Looks great. Did you make the box yourself? How does it sound? Nice comfortable looking neck profile.

The box was a Smith and Wesson gun display box. I sanded it and finished it with tru oil. It sounds amazing. Loud but warm. The brass cone sounds different than the usual alluminum. I am also putting a pickup in it this afternoon.

Very nice! I also love the shape of the soundholes.

Nope, friend of a friend. I love the way the brass resonates. I probably won't ever use anything else.

Yeah, sorry about that. It's the first one I've made with anything other than a cigar box. In fact, it has served as my coffee table stash box for about 15 years. It took a while for me to unlock it's true potential. So I guess SWGD/SBTRU if we're gettin' all technical.
