Hi! I thought I'd try a Hawaiian song. =) Ka Uluwehi O Ke Kai's among one of my favorite songs.

Aloha DaKineUkulele,

No wonder I noticed da area...."Keep strumming them strings"...

Just a little info about the mele written by Edith Kanaka`ole. The following footnote is from Na Mele Aloha, A Hawaiian Songbook.
Most of Edith Kanaka`ole's musical compositions dealt with the relationship between kanaka and his/her relationship in the environment - a relationship that is not only intuitive, but must also be taught if the environment is to be maintained. In this favorite hula mele Auntie Edith describes one's relationship with the ocean through various limu (seaweed) such as the lipoa, limu kohu, pahe`e, and lipalu. These each have different characteristics, as do sweethearts.

Aloha DaKineUkulele,
You made me pull out my ukulele and play the song....he he..
Played in "C" kinda rusty..haven't played in a long while.
When I was young, we used to pick all the different types of ogo...
and I heard it several months ago at a funeral for my hanai uncle
who used to take me to pick them....ahhh memories...MM Stan...
