This is an Uluru II by Ayers Guirtars

To me, less is more, and this ukulele has it all.(I am not a fan of the plastic rosettes and bindings of similar priced ukuleles)

Solid sapelle top, back, sides, and (3pc) neck
Rosewood fretboard and bridge
Bone nut and (compensated) saddle
Satin finish
Friction tuners with koa? buttons
3mm Abalone fret markers (5,7,10,12)
14 frets to the body, 19 total

I bought this from http://www.fleacircusmusic.com/
it comes with a lifetime warranty
I was given 2 stickers and a set of extra strings for free.

I am not sure if sapelle is officially considered a type of mahogany, but the sound is very similar.

These are built in a Vietnamese guitar factory and their quality control shows.
The fit and finish on this ukulele is outstanding. There is not a single drip of glue out of place. Not even on the inside.

These are going for $209
If lost or stolen, I would buy again.

Thanks for sharing Mokai,
Too bad they don't have local retailers, wouldn't mind testing one..
Usually for me, with any uke sound comes before price..
As consistancy and sound can vary from uke to uke.
This one looks like a basic satin model with some bling...but well made
abalone markers, bone nut and saddle koa tuning knobs to spice it up...
What does the warrenty cover anyways????HMMM
Thanks for sharing!!Sorry for the questions....been burned a few times
with these ukes made in other countries...MM Stan...

Hey stan,
I think the warranty protects you against defective materials being used and problems with workmanship.(such as improper gluing, causing the bridge to fly off)

A problem arising due to improper care would not be covered.
If you drop it, and the top separates from the body...... you're out of luck
If you don't humidify it and/or leave it out in the sun to become a raisin...... it's probably your fault

Usually, if a problem comes up, you'll already know if it's your fault or not.

If you want, check out this website:
http://www.ayersguitar.com/english_ay.html
If you go to products, then ukulele, you can check out all of their ukulele styles .... they also have sound samples of each model/size.

Thanks for the info. Mokai....
I jus love these advertised warranties...jus for structual issues which most ukes or retailers have..
technically almost nothing warranties...but it is a sapele body which is good with some bling..
I actually like sapele, it's a solid dense wood that projects sound really good..kinda heavy
and cheap but who cares...sound is for most important...
