SOLD!
You may know that we're adopting. We hope to have a little boy from Russia by Wintertime. So I've got to make room in my closet for our new family member's clothes!

Here is info on the ukulele:

Decca soprano 1950's or 1960's:
This Mahogany ukulele was a mess when I bought it. Kind of beat up with a small divot in the neck, I painted it light blue and put Kala wound red strings on it!

These old Deccas with the plastic fretboard were made in Japan and outshine the Harmony ukes of the same era. This one would make a great knock-around uke - one for your vehicle or perhaps a child's first instrument. But it sounds great - which is what matters!

Here's video of the uke so you can hear what it sounds like:

Dang... the price is right, but my folks would kill me if I brought another one home. I don't think the whole "it followed me home" thing will work again...

I'd buy that right up but I'd just use it to collect signatures... Plus I'm keeping my money for Guitar Hero On Tour on Wednesday. Sorry brah. But dang is that an excellent price.

I'll take it!

I would like to buy the blue decca for sure, and wanted to know if you could give me a combined shipping price if I took the other remaining Japanese uke. I teach kids in LA, and it is the end of the year and parents want to buy kids their own ukes. For little more than a Mahalo, I would love to help hook my students up with a solid wood uke with some character and history. email me if these two are still available, and as soon as I get an answer about combining the two, I will paypal you.
Congratulations on the adoption!
Mahalo,
Bill
