About 2 years ago I had some Orcas strings imported from Marue in Japan. Recently distribution has made it more easy to get these strings so we carry them now. They are fluorocarbon and available in med black. Really nice warm bell like tone. Well at least thats what I hear. Anyway always cool to try out strings to get a little different voice from your ukulele.

Really nice warm bell like tone.

I'm liking them on my Kala Tenor thinline. Great sound - they feel a little stiff after the Aquila's but I do like the sound.

Looks like I need to try a set on my Tanglewood. I'll get a set when I pickup my Loprinzi (which is pretty soon).

My new aNueNue banjo uke came with the Orcas strings. Jury is still out on how I like them on it, but I put a set on my Bushman Jenny concert and really like the bright sound.
