Ukulele nuts, that is. Not cashews.

Where can I buy nuts (and/or bridges) for a soprano uke
-separately (not in a build package)
-online
-that are available internationally (so, will ship outside of the US)?

Thanks! (I realize this might have been asked many times, but "nuts" is common of a search word, so I couldn't find anything relevant when I searched for it).

ask mike from mainland ukes(http://shop.mainlandukuleles.com/category.sc?categoryId=8) I got mine from him or
stewartmcdonald (http://www.stewmac.com/shop/Bridges,_tailpieces/Ukulele_bridges.html) or check out ebay

See if seller "taisamlu" on eBay has them. They'll be ox bone. He usually accepts an offer price that's 25%-40% off his asking price. The parts will ship from Taiwan.

He's also a good source for other ukulele parts.

Don't buy uke parts. Buy bone guitar blanks instead. From each you will be able to get a nut AND a saddle.

Thats the kind of knowledge i like :D
Could i use a nut/saddle from one of my guitars onb my cigar-box uke wich still is only a project in my head? I've got several crappy guitars just collecting dust in the attic.

Graph Tech. I actually use a 1/8" nut blank for my saddles, and a 3/16" guitar nut blank for my nuts (the stock `ukulele blanks aren't wide enough for my fretboards/neck).

That's what I do. I buy a guitar saddle blank from stew-mac for about $5 and make the nut and saddle from it. Works for me.

I've had good luck with the Luthier Store on ebay for bone saddles. About half the price of Stew mac and excellent quality and service.
