yeahhh..

so my kanile'a... what are you're peoples tricks to get that string out of the grove.. I'm trying to work it down right now with the bridge pin but it doesn't want to budge.

anyone have these problems? solutions?

I'll assume you have the bridge pin out and the string loose from the tuner. Unbend a paperclip and use that to pry the string out of the groove.

Sometimes mine gets really jammed in there too, I use some paper paper towel inside the jaws of my long nose plies and twist then pull gentlely....MM Stan...

I have used needle nose pliers, and a bit of wiggling. Sometimes stuff like that takes a little time for it to work it's way out. Be patient, and try movements in different directions. You never know what will finally free it.

Yeah the A string was a bugger. This is like the 4th time I've changed the strings on it so you think i'd be able to do it easy by now. But yeah.. some pulling and pushing and it came out after like 25 minutes. :D
