Just wondering why you also have a concert for sale for $30 more? Is it just because the purple heart laminate with the concert is more valuable than the ebony in this tenor?

Kite,

Good question. The purple concert has a black rosette, and that's a $25 add on.
The standard price for any box uke with a poplar neck (soprano, concert, tenor) is $295, then +$25 for a rosette, +$25 for binding around the body, and +$25 for the curly maple neck.

On a side note, it DOES take time for the purple heart to turn purple. Once you cut or sand it, it turns to PUKE color! Let it sit for a week and it turns a nice purple... until you sand it again ;-)

Thanks!

Lexxy, that's a beauty mark!

Actually it's a "wormy" spot in the maple. I could have easily taken it out, but I left it in because it gives character.

Satin Poly. I'll get a sound sample up tomorrow night.

Shrink,

I'm not in my shop but I can measure it this afternoon. Do you like it high or low? I can always "dial it in" to your liking.

height of strings at the last fret is just under 3/16". Sound clip added on initial post.
