On one of my newsgroups, a member proposed making a CD of holiday music (not just Christian) submitted by various group members. This project took off and the outcome was absolutely amazing. The 3-CD set has recordings submitted from all over the world. The persons who took charge of editing did a phenomenal job.
Would there be enough interest here to do something similar? I am not able to participate in such an undertaking due to job demands; however, there might be someone here who would be willing to take it on. I think it would have to be someone with professional recording experience.
By the way, the 3-CD set sold for $25. Enough copies were sold that there was ample profit made to donate to a festival.
