Hi Everyone,

I'm putting on a little uke performance with a few friends and students on the morning of Saturday, Sept 25, up in Jim Thorpe, PA. I'd like to invite other ukers who happen to be in the neighborhood to participate.

Maybe someone out there has a solo tune they'd like to perform? Or if you'd like you can just strum along with the group. We'll be playing from 10:30 in the morning til around noon at the Jim Thorpe Farmer's Market. Please drop me a line if you might be interested.

Oh, and we get paid in organic vegetables. Not a joke. If you're lucky you may go home with a nice green pepper. :)

I was born up there back in the day.
Sadly saturday is a work day for me,
should be a great time in some beautiful country.

For those who will be performing, keep in touch. It's a very casual event, but I'll have a program made up ahead of time so that we can keep things moving fairly quickly. I'm looking forward to it!

Many thanks to Skitzic, Mandarb and Colmes for making the trip up here to the boondocks and playing today! It was a real pleasure jamming & hanging out with you. Hope we can do it again soon.
