Stew-Mac Tenor build

I am ready to install the frets onto the fretboard. However the fret shank appears offset. Which way do I install them? Anyone else notice this? Or do I need new glasses... This is my first build so I am not sure. Thanks for looking.

I just did my fret board tonight. I did not notice any offset and I did not pay any particular attention to orientation of the fret wire and it seem to turn out ok. I posted a picture of my body and fret board earlier this evening.
