SO... ran across a pickup that I've never heard of & wonder if anyone has seen or heard this little gem? Its a "McIntyre UF-07 Acoustic Feather". Saw it on eBay from a seller that also lists Fishman, Dean Markley, & a bunch of others for just about any stringed instrument. A UU search only found two "hits" from past threads; one was in a Kanilea for sale.

It looks pretty interesting as it doesn't require you to drill a hole under your saddle or file the saddle down to accomodate the thickness. Anyone have experience with this pickup?

Glenn, Can you post a link to it? I'm intersted in a p/u that doesn't need to have a hole drilled.

Still needs the "endpin" hole drilled, just not one under the saddle. Stewmac carries them too.

Jake uses a Fishman Infinity Matrix in his signature model Kamakas. Even with this top of the line UST pickup, there is no guarantee you'll ever sound like him :)
