Baritone - Lanikai and Ashville - same factory?

I don't know, but they look awfully similar.

Don't know but whether they are from the same factory does not mean they of the same spec. I Q.A.for a factory that specialises in making the same products for different brand names. Each brand comes to us and has their own quality standards and specifications for what they want. Ukulele production is a million miles away from my area but it would be reasonable to assume the possiblity that one may specify they want to use cheap low quality wood cuts to keep their uke cheap, one may specify good grade wood cuts. Different thicknesses, templates, choice of tuners etc. They probably have a range to offer.

Look at Ohana ukes, I don't know if they are... but if they are made in the same factories, they have a massive amount of templates and ranges. Maybe someone on this forum works in one of these factories and can put in their knowledge.

I've got a couple of Lanikai's and I'm very happy with both of them! Apparently they're made in China, but the only indication of an origin on mine, is the makers badge inside and that say's Hawaii.
