I saw on Countdown tonight that they played Iz' Somewhere over the Rainbow at Tim Russert's funeral. Who knew he was a Uke fan?

And minutes after the service, as folks were leaving and stepping outside, a complete rainbow--from end to end--appeared in the sky.

So Sad

At this moment I am watching the entire memorial service (rebroadcast) on MSNBC for Tim Russert. What a wonderful tribute to a great newsman, a great human. My heart has been broken by his death. All UkeLove goes out to his son and wife and all who care for him. RIP.

Tim Russert really cared about his country, and loved his job. And at only 58, with no warning he is gone. It just goes to show how short life really is. Don't wait, live today.
