The chords and harmony parts are not difficult at all. I found the most challenging part was the series of triplets that separate the verses. I played them /down up down/up down up/down up down/up down up/ and tried to give them equal spacing as much as I could. Took a bit of practice. I found it a little easier to do when I planted my baby finger against the face of the uke.

Anyway, a good one to start practicing for a Halloween gig!

That was great :).

Oh yeah! A great little pop ditty by Sam the Sham and the Pharoahs. Your version is top notch. Enjoyed the video and performance. Two thumbs up! :shaka:

Some other CooL tunes for Halloween:

- Ghost Riders in the Sky (great as an instrumental)
- Haunted House (the ol' 50's rockabilly song)
- Monster Mash (easy 4 chord song... Bobby "Boris" Pickett and the Crypt-kickers!
- Werewolves in London - Warren Zevon hit..

Howl On....

Thanks, Telebob! I think the Classics IV "Spooky" might work, too!

I had a request for the chords, so thought I'd just add them here...

Who’s that I see walkin’ in these woods?
Why, it’s Little Red Riding Hood!
[Dm] Hey there Little Red [F] Riding Hood
[G] You sure are looking good
[Dm] You’re everything a
[A7] big bad wolf could [Dm] want [A7]
[Dm] Little Red [F] Riding Hood
[G] I don’t think little big girls should
[Dm] Go walkin’ in these
[A7] spooky old woods a[Dm]lone [A7]

[F] What big eyes you have
[Dm] the kind of eyes that drive wolves mad
So [G] just to see that you don’t get chased
I think I [C7] ought to walk with you for a ways
[F] What full lips you have
[Dm] they’re sure to lure someone bad
So un[G]til you get to grandma’s place
I think you [C7] ought to walk with me and be safe

[Dm] I’m gonna keep my [F] sheep suit on
[G] until I’m sure that you’ve been shown
That [Dm] I can be trusted
[A7] walking with you a[Dm]lone [A7]
[Dm] Little Red [F] Riding Hood
[G] I’d like to hold you if I could
But [Dm] you might think I’m a
[A7] big bad wolf so I [Dm] won’t [A7]

[F] What a big heart I have
[Dm] the better to love you with
[G] Little Red Riding Hood
[C7] even bad wolves can be good
[F] I’ll try to be satisfied
[Dm] just to walk close by your side
[G] Maybe you’ll see things my way
be[C7]fore we get to Grandma’s place

[Dm] Little Red [F] Riding Hood
[G] you sure are looking good
[Dm] You’re everything that a
[A7] big bad wolf could [Dm] want [A7]
I mean [Dm] baaad [F G] baaaad?
[Dm] baaaaaad [A7 Dm] (fade)
