Its the end of the nice weather in Ohio so last weekend we had our last bluegrass festival at Country Stage out in Nova. It was cold! but we managed to play into the wee hours of the morning anyway which brings me to the point of this thread.
Liking to mix it up a little I brought my Uke and Mountain Dulcimer. Well, a friend walked up while I had the Uke in hand and picked up the Dulcimer- no idea he played- and we proceeded to bust the jam but for the good. We had the best time playing Uke and Dulcimer together. Who would have thought these 2 instrument would work so well together. I think it was the most fun I've had all summer. The best part was a bass player and guitarist showed and we had the best jam until past 3. Frozen I went to bed happy for the evening. Jazz, Bluegrass, Folk and some rock, how can you go wrong whit that.
