buying an eleuke in the UK

Hi guys.
first post so hi, now my question is regarding buying the eleuke k series in the UK I have been searching all evening and can't find one. So I am interested if any of you UK guys have managed to find one in the UK. I have only been playing a month but am stuck with some rubbish blue moon ukelele which is ok value but not good as I feel I am progressing quickly and it is holding me back, also its my birthday so will give me something to buy with my birthday money. Many thanks in advance.

Just wanted to welcome you to the UU and our humble forums...did try to google eleuke website and check for dealers in UK??

Thanks mm stan but I checked every single one of them and not one had the k series most didn't even sell eleukes. I've sent a few emails so hopefully something will come up.
 
Ok, I must be REALLY sleepy. I read the title of this thread as "BURNING an eleuke in the UK". Unfortunately, I can't help with EITHER.
 
I know that there are two stores on ebay that sell eleukes. Purple Turtle and Southern Ukulele Store... though I can't say if they stock the model you're after. Try looking there, if not then see if they can get them in as obviously eleuke supplies them?
 
if they still stock them, I am in the UK and I bought mine for £10 shipped from Thomann - they are in Germany, but they arrive bombproof.

The reason I mentioned them was they were SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than UK dealers

just had a look they don't seem to have the k series, was it defiantly the k series you got there?

yay finally found one, are you from the uk and have you used them before, will probably send them an email to confirm somethings with them first before i even attempt to buy it. but thats good value!
 
no I'm from the netherlandds myself and I haven't used that site for anything yet. I there is a Uke specialised store and hour-ish away from me so I can just buy my ukes there. buut they don't havve too many eleuke though xD

ok well luckily for me i know a dutch family and they will be more than happy to help me out so i'll try and get help from them, thanks again.
 
Ok well emailed a few people and they all said not stocked in UK and the eleuke twitter account tweeted back saying it said all stockist on their site but none stocked it so am going to look to buy it from mainland Europe from the dutch site mentioned before. So will check back here saying how that went as it is possible someone will coming with the same question soon.
