Thinking of setting up a lap slide ukulele...

...But, of course, I can't afford something like a mya-moe steel lap with a nice square neck.

Any suggestions on where to get a raised nut/saddle and how to set it up nicely for intonation?

Also, I'll be buying a new uke to do this whole setup, and could use some help with that too

StewMac sells ones for guitars...you might be able to fabricate it for a uke. Here's the link.
