A few weeks ago I purchased a Martin Style 0 early 1930.
It is in excellent condition and sounds like heaven.
The action is a little high on the old lady however. The neck is straight and
there is no bellying of the top. The nut is perfect too.
Anybody with the same problem?
Did the standard action of Martin ukes change trough the years?
I could file down the bridge, but that would change the sound dramatically,
because there is little room left...
I'm in the market of buying a second one, but younger (50's or 60') for life
performances to built in a pick up.
Any suggestions about the best one? Shadow? MiSi?
