vintage gibson

I've been watching the same auction & I'm no vintage expert (I've bought one old but no-name & one old Kamaka from the 60's). The only thing that gives me pause is that the logo on the headstock "The Gibson" looks like it has been filled in with one of those white permanent markers & also appears pretty low on the headstock compared to others that I've seen. (googled for "The Gibson" images)

All in all, Gibson ukes seem to run upwards of 200 - 300 or way more depending on condition & except for my stated reservations on the authenticity, this one appears to be in near flawless shape. I may regret not bidding on this one, so have at it. It may be worth a pretty penny if it is indeed real.

the logo does look a little off, but they did do some "funny ones", almost looks too good to be true.
