Enjoyed an evening with the Nashukes (Nashville Ukulele Society). Sat next to a guy I'd never met. He was playing a beautiful pineapple koa. I sturmmed it... very smooth and very sweet shring to it... perhaps the easiest action and sweetest sounding uke I'd ever played or heard. Wanted to talk with him after the get-together but I got pulled aside and he bolted. The brand of his uke escapes me. I need help. It was something like a Larrabe or Laramee. I can't find the brand anywhere on the web so I know I'm off. Can anyone come to my rescue? Any idea what the brand may have actually been? I gotta follow up on that uke... gotta have one! Thanks.

Hi Uker,

My best guess is that it was a Larivee made up in Vancouver, Canada.
They made some really nice ukuleles but have now stopped, they continue to
make primo guitars and mandolins. Same story as usual "I shoulda bought one when I could".

Cheers.
