Hello everyone,

We finally finished editing our compilation video of the 2010 Cairns Ukulele Festival. See the UU members Facemeltingukulele (Jason Arimoto) and Jumpingflea (Matt Dahlberg) in action! Hope you enjoy this and also maybe make you consider a holiday to Australia July next year!

Part 1

Features the Uke Art Exhibition (benefiting Duchenne Foundation), World Record attempt (with a crowd of over 1200!) and performances by Matt 'Jumpingflea' Dahlberg and Jason Arimoto on Great Adventures Green Island on the Great Barrier Reef.

Part 2

Features amazing performances by The Old Spice Boys, Jason Arimoto, Daniel Ho, James Hill and Anne Davison

Thanks for putting this together Gaby, great stuff!

Must try and get there in 2011....

THe little girl singing at 7:50 in part 1.

Who is she ? A local uke player? She is too cute and she is going to be a ukulele powerhouse.

And what song is she singing? Great performance, but trying to figure it out is driving me nuts!

Hannah is a local girl. The song is actually called, "Since I was Seven"

The track has been recorded here for a local compilation album to be given to every baby born this year and features a solo by Matt!

Chords are:

verse: C | G | F | G
in between bit: C | F | G | G

In relation to accommodation, there's an abundance here as Cairns is a tourism orientated town. Lots of things to do while you're here!
