I have an Applause tenor uke with an on board control module. Can anyone tell me what the settings do or how do you use it. There was no explination of how to use it when I bought it.

It's an active electric and it takes a 9v battery.
I heard that changing the battery on the Applause Tenor is a bit of a pain. If you wait for someone who owns one, or Google around, you may find the instructions.
It's a pity the battery is so hard to change.

Other than that, just plug it in to an amplifier or PA system. Adjust the volume and tone to your liking (as well as the settings on the amp/PA system), and you can rock away!

You adjust the controls until you get the sound you want:

I recommend an L.R. Baggs Paracoustic D.I. ( I had this suggestion POUNDED into me by the late, great ukulele icon John Kavanagh of Canada!). It helps us tailor or sound to closely match the acoustic sound of our instruments. Furthermore, I recommend the Roland AC-33 acoustic chorus battery/AC amplifier. It has separate channel for a microphone. I will definately get another. Ric:
