I used to live in NOVA but recently moved away. I know there are at leat a couple of groups up there and one in Richmond. I never got around to to getting together with any of them but they seemed nice from what I heard.

Richmond group (http://www.ukuleleunderground.com/forum/showthread.php?31958-RIVER-CITY-UKULELE-SOCIETY-Richmond-Virginia&highlight=virginia)

I cant find the info on the other groups but if you google it you should be able to find it.

I live over in the Shenandoah Valley and no get togethers over here. If you hear of one, however, I am in.

Lake Ann Plaza in Reston.
This is the invite I got a couple weeks ago:
Wanted to let you know we have a group that meets in Reston. You would be more than welcome. We have people of all skill levels and there would be a uke available for you to play with (at the meetings) if you don't have one. We have just started having open mic night where we meet at Cafe Montmartre.

Hi Rick, Thanks for the reply! I think I stumbled upon this meet last week. I emailed with a fellow named Moses. I'm going to make it after Thanksgiving
