mystery uke

I have an old koa uke which I bought at the swap meet. It had no back and I was able to read half its label at the head of the uke by using a black light and lots of patience. The imprint said Jack and was followed by a doodled decoration. (the left side of the label was burnished off entirely) This uke is really old according to the uke builder who restored it.
