That's so awesome! have fun with it. It's a beauty.

Am I the only one thinking, sell it and get:

a Moore Bettah soprano
a Kamaka pineapple
a KoAloha concert
a Mya-Moe resonator
an MP tenor
and a used car

???

Simply magnificent Danged. This is the second Jake Kamaka that I have seen in a thread on the forum. I don't recall who the other lucky member was that got one. I hope that it was worth the wait.

Stunning! A visual delight and I'm certain it nearly plays itself with a magic mojo!:drool:

Ho'o lono ana i ke Kani hone hone a ka ukulele...

Wow dude, that is a beautiful uke, it sounds amazing too. I don't even want to look at it anymore though cause it makes me want it so bad. >_>

beautiful uke, enjoy

That is simply beautiful. Your playing was even better than the uke looks.

Do you know why they didn't go with a slotted headstock?

My guess is that they wanted Jake's uke to be unique. For the price it would have been nice to see this signature model with maybe an unbound slotted headstock (to differenciate from Jake's) with those Gilbert tuners. But it is a great looking and sounding ukulele and I'm sure everyone who was lucky enough to get one is extremely happy with it.
