Like anything would stop the whinging...

But I gotta give this guy big credit for resourcefulness in scrounging together working parts to hold that thing together. I'd give him a buck or two as I walked past...

I always look at friction tuners with suspicion...something that needs to be replaced. Yup, this video worked for me.

Aloha Sanktf,
I got to give this guy credit for his ingenuity and resourcefullness..for what he has.....the broken headstock and his repair job is what really got me..
If I had my old guitar, I'd pass it on to him....for sure with a Big Mac.....do the have them there.......MM Stan
