I had the good luck of winning an Otis Johnson handmade pineapple while at the Tampa Uke Fest. It's a great uke. The neck is a little fatter than what I'm used to, but my guitar playing buddy loves it for that reason. If you are a pineapple fan and want a great price on a USA handmade uke check out his site.

The one I got is very nice, not super loud but great tone.

Is yours the "Lisa Simpson" model head stock? ;-) How would compare the character of the sound compared to the Mainland, mango, red cedar or mahogony ukes?

I haven't had alot of time with it yet and I always have trouble with the somantics of sounds too.

Sweet looking pineapples. Any chance you could post a sound clip HH?
