Advice please!! Found vintage uke!!

Can anyone please offer some advice?.... My friend stumbled onto (what looks to be) a high quality vintage ukulele - but doesn't know how to verify its value. He doesn't play the uke and doesn't collect instruments, so he is probably looking to sell it.

What's the best way to appraise it? I would assume an appraiser would charge a fee - but we have no idea how much. When he does sell, what is the best way to go with something that is vintage and high quality? Not sure if there are any forums or marketplaces that focus on such items.

Get some good-quality pictures, and post them up here, or over at flea market music. That will usually get you a ballpark figure.
