Picked up a Nalo concert ukulele on ebay. Its zebrawood. The seller said it has laminate sides and back and solid top (I can't really confirm but the material does look a bit different than my laminate Lanikai). He said that these were made by Kanilea. It looks to be made well. It has what looks like quality tuners and nice binding all around the body and up the neck. It has a deep sound. I've got it strung with Martin clear fluorocarbons. Can anyone confirm the info I have? Here's some pics

Not sure if it's Nalo or Nalu.

Here's thejumpingflea jamming to a Nalu tenor.

[QUOTE=Lexxy;528620]Not sure if it's Nalo or Nalu.

I own a Nalu (Hokua) and their "thing" is the wave motif on the headstock, around the soundhole and an abalone inlay wave marking the 7th fret.

I think the Nalo ukes are made by Kanile'a. If so, they must be pretty good.

Actually I think this is a soprano with a concert scale, not a concert as the body is the same size as my other sopranos
