In order to raise cash for the Holidays, I am selling my Ana'ole custom tenor. I purchased it in the spring from another UU member for $1000.00. I am listing it for $800.00 including CONUS shipping, hopefully for a quick sale. Here are the specs:
Model TC serial #0023
Bearclaw spruce top
AAA curly Koa back and sides
Honduran mahogany neck
Ebony fretboard, bridge, faceplate, and heel cap
Abalone purfling on body and headstock
Abalone rosette
Inlaid dragon of abalone and mother of pearl
Ivaroid body and headstock binding
Gotoh mini black chrome tuners
Strung with Worth CHLGHD low G strings
Black foam case
There are two small hairline cracks in the finish on the back of the neck behind the second fret that were there when I bought the uke. They are just in the finish and not the neck, and are barely visible. I tired to photograph them but they are dificult to see. my guess is that they were caused by someone overtightening a capo on the neck. They cannot be felt when playing.
This is truly a beautiful ukulele. It sounds very deep and booming. It is difficult to part with but Christmas is right around the corner, finances are tight, and the kids need presents. So this has to go. Happy Holidays.
