This past Saturday I got to see two really good ukers perform (DeG and Aaron Lee). Anyways Aaron is on a bicycle and uke across america tour and he does really neat charity events with local charities. Anyways, I picked up his latest uke themed cd and figured I'd give it away in a contest. All you have to do is respond to this thread telling me you want the CD. I'll have my wife or someone else draw all the names out of a holding utensil (hat, box, bowl, etc...) and whoever is drawn wins. Contest will run through 12/01/10.

You can listen to 3 songs from it here:
Aaron Lee (http://www.reverbnation.com/aaronleemusic)

I have it. It's fun. The Ukulele Project is a CD that uses the word ukulele in all the songs, and features Aaron on ukulele along with musicians on upright bass and piano.

Ladies and Gentlemen, We have a winner.

what I did was write each memebers name down on a piece of paper and numbered each memeber. We had 26 people enter into theis awesome contest. I then placed the numbers on a piece of paper and placed them inside a santa hat. I then drew out three numbers, the first number is the winner, then 1st runner up and second runner up. (There is no prize for the runners up but they do get acclaim for entering the contest and meeting the stringent requirements:))

Drum Roll Please...

Our second runner up has been a member of UU since March of 2010, This member resides at the tiki hut...Coconut Willie. Congrats on meeting the requirements to be int he drawing but unfortunately your number was drawn two spots too late:(

First Runner up resides in NYC and has been a member since August of 2010. Give it up to Jnobianci.

and finally the moment that we all have been waiting for the winner of Aaron Lee's Uke themed CD joing our community back in February 2009...
Joe H

If you can PM me your address, I will get this cd shipped out tomorrow morning.

*Haolejohn would like to thank our sponsors who contributed to this contest.
**No animals were harmed during the course of this contest.
***The paper used was recycled from scratch paper from students.

No ukulele in hand? Then it'll just look like a funny hat on a wall. I love your avatar and enjoyed visiting your sketch blog. I'm prone to making unusual glass beads - including skulls and evil eyes, not professionally but just for fun.
