Not really sure if i really want to do this so if my demands seem high, it is b/c I am sitting on the fence here. I have too many koa ukuleles (blasphemy I know, but you can only play one at a time). I am currently craving a spruce top uke, and since asking the wife to let me buy one is out of the question, I'd figured I'd offer one of mine up for trade or sell.
If you want to buy the uke, I want $850 and I'll pay shipping and insurance.
The uke is in fabulous condition. There are some strum marks by the sound hole and not sure if those will buff out or not. There is also a ding on the bottom side that you can kind of see in the picture. I am pointing it out. The ding was on the uke when I got it and I have no idea how it got there. It doesn't affect the uke in anyway. P/U works and I have no idea who made it. The koa is stunning (which is why I am having a hard time doing this).
Trade?
I am looking for a quality spruce top uke. I would like to get equal value. I am looking for a Mele/Pono plus cash or other ukes or a ko'olau spruce top. Please don't waste my time with lesser quality spruce top ukes. If you think it is fair, offer it up and I will decide (no kalas, mainlands, makais, lanikais, etc).
The spruce top uke must be handmade.
I would also take a KoAloha crown bridge tenor or crown bridge super concert I think
Am I asking too much? maybe but it is my uke and I can ask what I want
Basically I want a really nice spruce top uke.
I'm really not hard to work with. Heck, I traded a Pineapple Sunday for this Kamaka.
If you have any questions, feel free to email me at jeller1371@gmail.com or PM me here*
*If you are not a senior member I may ask you to ship first and I will ship after receipt. If a trade goes through, I offer a week to trade back if you are not completely satisfied (you have to pay shipping return cost).
