The amp is made by Line 6. It's their little 15 watt Spider III with 8" speaker.
While in Houston last week, Cliff (hotnanas) brought his with him. I really liked the sound and it has some fun effects to play with. I picked it up at Guitar Center for $99.00.

Ya, and that amp is fun to play with, one day I will step up to a bigger badder setup. But at this stage, why step on pedals when I can just turn a few knobs and get close to an effect that sounds ok?

If you throw in the sus4 chords (in your key: Gsus4, Bsus4, and Csus4, the latter being used for both the C and the Cm) you can get the signature riff (bum ba dum bum bum) for the tune.

I also do their live -- and album -- version (as opposed to the MTV version) wherein they use a different modifier for "special." I know that will upset Ukisociety and others, but there ya go. I'm just not a big fan of bowdlerizing.

I treat it like the creepy (ahem) stalker anthem that it is and use it to scare the ladies.
