...until I played a custom Kamaka today...

I have a cheap-o Mahalo right now, and until today I thought it was OK... I hadn't really played any other ukes.

After playing a Kamaka, and even a nice Lanikai, I realized just how crappy the action and everything is on the Mahalo. The Kamaka was just sooo easy to play, and the tuners were amazingly smooth and and easy to tune.

Needless to say, I'm shopping for a new uke right about now :D

dont get me started on kamakas, i want one sooo bad.. they look heaps good and every video i see somebody play one.. makes me want one even more. Im happy with my Lanikai and all but kamakas ftw!

Haha yeah, man. I have a mahalo too and never played another ukulele until I went and played a Cole Clark one in the store. I mean, it was expensive and I will never buy it... but it felt soooooo goood, haha. The action difference was what did it for me.

I want a Kamaka though. Those things are beauts...

Save your $$$ . . . My brother bought a Tenor in the early 80's and action was smooth and the sound, OMG! I regret not getting one then. C'est La Vie! But, just wait . . .
