Anyone use an amplug on their electrics

I just got a solidbody electric uke, one of Pete Howlett's Uklectic. I got it pretty much for quite practice at night. I want to get something so I can plug in my headphones and play. I was thinking about a vox amplug and was wondering if anyone has one and what their thoughts were. Which one do you have, I thought the acoustic would be fine. Or if there is anything else out there that is nice I am open to suggestions.

I will probably get an amp one day but for now I really just want to hook up some headphones and play.

I used a Vox amPlug AC30 w/my RISA stick for the same purpose. No complaints. It has volume, gain, and tone controls, and the battery lasted 2-3 months for me. I liked the tone and sustain it provided.
